In May and June I spent a couple of days with the team from the BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal with St Martin-in-the-Fields as they filmed a video celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Appeal – click on the photo above to launch a gallery with a few of these images. The pictures are of Hugh Dennis filming outside the church, chatting to archivist Michael Hellyer, Christine and her support worker (who have been supported by the Appeal), and Sybil, a member of the St Martin’s congregation who is the same age as the Appeal itself.
The video documents a bit of the the history of the Appeal and it’s well worth a watch.
