Here’s Ralph with The Jubilee String Quartet who I first photographed at the St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition a few years ago. I started photographing early that day and caught the end of their rehearsal – it was immediately clear just how much care and attention they put into the music and it really paid off during the performance. Since then they have changed three of the four musicians but lost none of the brilliance – highly recommended if you ever get a chance to hear them. Next London performance is on 14th February at the Shaw Library.
