OAE at Acland Burghley School

Earlier this month I was invited to Acland Burghley School in Camden to take some photos as the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment settle into their new home. In a first for a British orchestra the OAE are moving their admin staff, library and rehearsal spaces into the school allowing them to ‘live, work and play’ amongst the school’s students. The day started with some of the players serenading the students as they arrived for school in the morning.

We then moved inside their Grade II listed school hall for a short workshop with one of the music classes.

Read more about the move in the OAE’s press release.
